This image taken at the beginning of the 20th century shows a master and his servants outside an old house. 

The original image was badly damaged (see below) to the point where even repairing certain aspects of the shot would require a level of work which would result in a usable image but not great.

The only solution was to replace these areas with modern images that matched.

So the grass and garden to the left hand side and a portion of the grass to the right was replaced from a colour slide I had and then blended into the image. 

The house and figures were untouched and and a lot of time was spend with the images in the windows.

There was no sky in the original so I added in a new sky to compliment the new colour image.

Lastly the gravel was bland and boring in the original so I give the gravel a bit more punch with added colours.

Overall a very satisfactory image.
