Until now, digital images from phones have been a major problem. They are low resolution images at around 16 megapixels. There are phones with higher resolution but they still don't match a high quality digital camera or a 35mm camera.

Here is an image I took one night. The cat just appeared and i took a couple of quick shots. Major problem was the low quality of the image which was not exceptable for high quality printing.

Thankfully modern programs have come along which enhance the various components of the image and allow enhancement of the image detail.

The only issue I had was slight blurr on the cat and the tail moving fast but that was easily corrected in Photoshop. The cat was moving fast, not obvious in the shot. I literally had seconds to compose and get the shot.

Had it been 35mm, forget it, I would not have been fast enough and would have required a high speed film.
