Modern technology allows you to scan slides and bring out a level of detail that was never possible before.

Here is a 5x4 slide. Up until recently scanning slides meant getting high contrast images especially if you were printing directly. Slides and printing really didn't go well together. 

With modern programs you can now control the image detail and brightness to exactly the way you wish.

I brought out a bit more detail in the shadows and reduced the overall yellow cast to get the image I wished.

Slide film is a joy to work with as there is
no grain especially the higher the format you go.

The only downside is the longer restoration time for a customer.
