I still use film, and do all my post production work digitally now. Here is a studio shot I took years ago.

The rock the model is sitting on is real. The background sea and sky are AI generated to high resolution.

The beach and model are real. Shot on 200 ISO 35mm film negative. Since there is grain I had to add grain to the background image to counterbalance the original film grain.

The Model was harmonized with the backdrop and shadows added. The rock was also harmonized to match the background. Done right, this technique is useful in avoiding  location shots which are very expensive. Overall very pleased with the final result and the final image can be printed to A0 size.

​I kept AI to a minimum and use real photography as much as I can for the shots. AI is good at basic scenes.
